MTS StartUp Hub will find partners for IoT and healthcare startups

MTS StartUp Hub has selected 18 startups that would become residents of the sixth batch of corporate accelerators. Four projects among them will pilot their solutions together with the medical clinics group «Medsi», and eight IoT-startups will test their solutions in partnership with MTS industrial clients.

In a month and a half, MTS has received over 600 requests to take part in the accelerator. This is the highest result for the project since its launch. We selected the projects in four directions: financial and banking technologies, IoT and NB-IoT equipment, digital technologies for health control, medical solutions and services for «Medsi».

“The launch of a partnership program for IoT solutions and medical startups is a distinctive feature of the sixth batch of MTS accelerator. For health care projects, we have chosen one flagship partner «Medsi». Our goal in the IoT track is to pack and offer the startup solutions to large MTS clients for piloting. In this accelerator direction, startups will provide products for specific customer segments. This approach makes the innovation ecosystem of MTS even more open and allows to offer startups, that cooperate with MTS, many new options for successful development of projects in partnership not only with MTS but also with our clients,” said Dmitry Kurin, Director of MTS StartUp Hub Center for Innovation and Investment.

Startups of medical solutions and services for Medsi direction will launch pilots based on the telemedicine solution SmartMed. Projects within the digital technologies for health control track and financial and banking technologies track will launch pilots using MTS infrastructure.
