BID Technologies began to produce robots on 5G

BID Technologies specializes in artificial intelligence technologies and robotics. The startup was founded in 2018. The company produces robots under the Birbi M-1 brand. The company focuses on smart machines that help automate production, analysis and processing of BIG Data, biometric technologies and predictive analytics. In two years, four areas of work were created: six-axis robotic manipulators (robotic arms); delta robots (spider robot); linear robots (portal); Scara robots. These robots are used for welding, painting, as well as for loading and unloading CNC machines, for sorting and packing products and for product quality control systems.

Robots are integrated with conveyors, machine tools and production lines, automation of production processes is carried out and the development of individual solutions in the field of robotics to order. All this is made possible by the smooth and fast 5G communication network. The startup team turned to the MTS 5G Center for capacities and additional expertise.

During the incubation, the startup tested the packaging of various items by the robot in production (batteries, eggs, etc.) and trained its system to recognize defects in production using machine vision. Now BID Technologies is the only manufacturer of industrial robots in Russia operating in the new generation 5G networks.
