New products of the MTS 5G Center: autonomous drones, robotic couriers and online broadcasting with AI

Seven startups of the MTS 5G Center have developed technological products based on new generation networks.

Teams that have completed their solutions for 5G networks:

Сinfo (Spain) is an automated system of sports broadcasting based on AI. New generation networks have provided a wide and stable communication channel, which minimized relay cost and launch time of the broadcasting system.

“The MTS 5G Center has become a noticeable hub on the technological map of the world. There were only two foreign startups in the first batch. The situation has changed. In the second batch, over half of all participants are representatives of foreign countries. Russian startups’ interest is increasing: we see many new domestic solutions that show much higher efficiency and performance using fifth generation networks. 15 teams have already tested and completed their products at the MTS 5G Center and also received 7.5 million rubles from MTS for development. We are discussing further cooperation with many participants. We plan to open a new batch in the 5G Center soon,” said Dmitry Kurin, Director of the Department for Innovation and Investments at MTS StartUp Hub.

For four months, residents of the MTS 5G Center used 5G modules and subscriber equipment, cloud services #CloudMTS, as well as platforms for developing and testing solutions in the MTS 5G network at VDNH and Kronstadt. Leading MTS experts and invited mentors consulted the teams.
